Congratulations to Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti

Congratulations to our music curator Dr. Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti who will be leaving EMPAC to join the team at Hawai’i Contemporary as their new Director of Community Engagement.

We have been fortunate to have Dr. Lanzilotti as our Music Curator for the past two years. During her tenure at EMPAC, she developed music residencies, commissions, performances, and events with a diverse range of artists including Sarah Hennies, Ken Ueno, Bora Yoon, Miya Masaoka, Leslie Flanigan, Pamela Z, and Maria Chavez. Many of Dr. Lanzilotti’s curated projects will continue in development at EMPAC in the coming years.

While we are sad to see Anne Leilehua leave our EMPAC team, we wish her all the best and are excited to see what this new opportunity will bring to her professional and personal practice.
