Soraya Chemaly

Soraya Chemaly is an award-winning journalist, activist, and author dedicated to bringing intersectional feminist thought into the popular mainstream and committed to expanding women’s civic and political participation. Chemaly is the author of The Resilience Myth (Simon & Schuster Audio, 2024) and Rage Becomes Her: The Power of Women’s Anger (Atria Books, 2018). Her TED talks and writings are widely published in national and international media. Chemaly was recently awarded a Wikipedia Distinguished Service Award for exemplary contributions to the advancement of public knowledge and educational content.
