Tara Rodgers
Dr. Tara Rodgers (Analog Tara) is a multi-instrumentalist composer, sound engineer, and interdisciplinary music scholar based in the Washington, DC, area. She is the author of Pink Noises: Women on Electronic Music and Sound (2010) and numerous essays on sound and music technologies. Pink Noises is recognized as “an absolutely singular undertaking... changing the ways we think about electronic music” (Cycling ’74). Originally from Rensselaer, Tara is a graduate of Columbia High School in East Greenbush and Brown University. She completed an MFA in Electronic Music at Mills College and a PhD in Communication Studies at McGill University. www.analogtara.net
