Peli Grietzer

Peli Grietzer has a PhD in mathematically-informed literary theory from Harvard Comparative Literature, in collaboration with the HUJI Einstein Institute of Mathematics. His writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books, Glass Bead Journal, and Peach Mag, among others. Grietzer’s dissertation borrows mathematical forms from deep learning theory to model the ontology of ‘ambient’ phenomena like moods, vibes, styles, and ‘structures of feeling,’ and deductively derived something like Modernist poetic practice from this premise. Peli Grietzer is based in Berlin, Germany.
