Mei Si

Prof. Mei Si is an associate professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in the Cognitive Science Department and is the graduate program director of the Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. Prof. Si specializes in natural language processing, virtual environments, and AI agents for games, with over two decades of experience in developing intelligent conversational agents, social robots, and gaming applications. Her diverse research initiatives have been supported by DOD, NIH, Amazon, Disney, IBM, Tencent, Substrate AI, and the ESA Foundation.
