MacArthur winner to perform Oct. 13 at EMPAC

Wu Tsang, a filmmaker and performance artist due to appear at EMPAC next weekend, has been announced as a MacArthur Fellowship winner.

Tsang is among the artists participating in “Sudden Rise,” an ensemble performance mixing image, voice and movement scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, as part of EMPAC’s 10th anniversary festival.
