Recess!
Think about the last time you went to recess.
It was a genuine break in the middle of the day. Not a race to eat what you could before returning to work, not an opportunity to do errands, or to catch up on sleep—you used to put aside the work and play.
Think: Did recess ever have to go away?
EMPAC is bringing it back. Stop in at Evelyn’s Café on Level 5 any time from Noon to 2PM on Wednesday, September 2. Forget about work for a while, grab some lunch, chat with friends, and enjoy music by energetic bands sure to get you moving in a variety of ways.
Sing, dance, lie back, let loose, and enjoy Recess like you used to.

Totally Confused
Totally Confused are what they call themselves.
....Either that or they genuinely aren't sure how they got here.
We aren't sure either.
What we are sure of is this that when you lock several musicians in a room,
all with different and deeply varied musical inspirations - anything from jazz and folk to metal and sea shanties,
and let them talk to each other for way too long,
This is apparently what you get.
Every act is a mixed bag. Their music will have the audience dancing, laughing, crying,
And repeatedly asking:
"...but why?"
We don't know. They usually don't either. But we do know it makes for a great show
That is hard to forget.
Habitat for Waterfowl
Habitat for Waterfowl is a Troy, New York-based post-Hardcore band coming back for their first show in fall 2026 semester, blending sparkly emo revival storytelling with classic post hardcore noise.
