Yarn / Wire

Yarn/Wire is a new music quartet dedicated to the promotion of creative, meaningful live musical experiences in the US and abroad. The New York City based ensemble achieves this through live performances, educational activities, and large-scale collaborative projects. Its commissioning series, Yarn/Wire/Currents, serves as an incubator for experimental new music in partnership with other Brooklyn-based institutions. The Yarn/Wire International Institute and Festival, held annually since 2014, welcomes composers and performers interested in exploring the collaborative side of contemporary music.
